Any change in heartbeat by more than 20 milliseconds significantly increases the risk of cardiac arrhythmia.
In a 2008 report by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Propoxyphene was found to be almost twice as likely to cause death per 100,000 prescriptions as hydrocodone.
